Throttle Quadrant & Flaps
A combined panel: three linear sliders for throttle, prop, and mixture, plus a 4-detent flaps lever with a servo-driven position indicator that mirrors the sim's own flap animation.
Throttle, prop, and mixture
Three linear potentiometers map directly onto MSFS's throttle, propeller, and mixture axes for engine 1 — smooth, continuous control exactly like the sim's own virtual levers.
Flaps lever
The flaps lever isn't a continuous axis — it's four physical detents (up, and three flap settings), read as discrete positions rather than a sweep. Each detent fires its own discrete event to the sim, so the flaps land on exactly the position the aircraft actually models, rather than an analog value rounded to the nearest step.
Flaps position indicator
A small servo-driven needle mirrors the sim's actual flap position — not just where the lever is, but where the simulated surface has animated to, so the indicator lags the lever exactly the way a real flap gauge follows the mechanism it's attached to.
Firmware
Open — see the PRD_TPM_and_Flaps repository. Runs on a plain Arduino-class board with an add-on CAN controller — no STM32 required for this one.
